WHY PICK A MURDER MILE WALK?
Murder Mile Walks, praised as "one of the top three themed walks in London" by Time Out Magazine, it's a truly curious, amazingly quirky and decidedly different treat, with FIVE STAR reviews in all publications.

HOW MANY MURDERS PER WALK?
With our motto being "less walking, more murders", Murder Mile Walks (Soho) packs in a whopping 12 MURDERERS, across 15 LOCATIONS, totalling 75 DEATHS in just two hours, over barely a mile.*

Murder Mile Walks - Time Out Five Star Review,
WHICH MURDERERS?
Murder Mile Walks not only features FIVE SERIAL KILLERS all within streets of each other, including little known facts about "Britain's most notorious serial killer" Dennis Nilsen, but also less famous, but more intriguingly compelling murder cases such as Soho's very own WW2 slasher The Blackout Ripper, maniac William Crees, the strange defence of Peter Keim, Britain's notoriously competent hangman William Calcraft, the Denmark Street Fire, as well as unravelling the mystery of who The Soho Strangler was, and the real truth about Jack the Ripper... to name but a few. *

HOW DO I BOOK TICKETS?
Simple, just click BOOK TICKETS using our trusted ticketing system. There are NO BOOKING FEES, NO REGISTERING and all major credit/debit cards are accepted, using Stripe. For for private bookings, larger groups, or if you have any questions, click CONTACT or email me at mmiletours@gmail.com

HOW ACCURATE IS IT?
Highly. Murder Mile Walks has been intensively researched by your personal guide, with all of the evidence sourced from reputable sources such as the Old Bailey Court transcripts, Police & Fire Brigade incident reports, the National Archives, newspapers, eye-witness testimony and local knowledge, as well as months of personal investigation to ensure that each tour has a balanced, entertaining and yet accurate story. Which, along with the walk being barely a mile long, means....

...no hiking, no waffling, no ghost stories... and definitely no boring bits.

HOW LONG IS A MURDER MILE TOUR?
Just over one mile, barely six streets of Soho, but Murder Mile Walks (Soho) packs in a whopping 12 MURDERERS, across 15 LOCATIONS, totalling 75 DEATHS in just two hours. Unlike most murder walks, you won't be bored. Our motto is "less walking, more murders" and we don't disappoint.*

WHERE DOES IT START, AND FINISH?
It starts at Tottenham Court Road tube station (outside exit 1) and - having walked in a big, but exceedingly fun circle - finishes on Dean Street, right by Shaftsbury Avenue, barely a three minute walk from where you started. Although, if you need help or directions getting somewhere, Michael will be more than happy to help. *
HOW MANY PEOPLE PER TOUR?
Murder Mile Walks is strictly limited to just 15 people maximum per tour, ensuring a fun, dark and deeply engaging tour. Therefore it's advisable to BOOK YOUR TICKETS early. *

IS MURDER MILE "MURDEROUSLY GOOD FUN"?
Definitely. Murder Mile Walks has been expertly researched, written and performed by a highly experienced playwright, researcher, comedian and performer, so not only will each case be factually accurate but also a wonderfully compelling piece of story-telling and performance, and you will also get to help solve an eighty year old murder case, which even today, remains a mystery.

WHO IS THE GUIDE?
Michael is Murder Mile Walks creator and your personal guide. With over fifteen years experience in programme-making for the BBC, ITV, S4C and well as numerous feature film, radio and television production companies. He is also playwright, novelist and performer with five full length black comedies produced at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Having lived and worked in London since the 1990's, Michael knows London's streets, passages and back-alleys intimately. He is friendly, polite and knowledgeable, as well as a keen walker, a passionate historian and a consummate story-teller. *

ARE MURDER MILE TOURS DISABLED FRIENDLY?
Absolutely. All pavements have easy access, with the walk being barely a mile long, so has proved suitable for customers with wheel-chairs, walking stick and crutches. Michael, your personal tour guide, also carries a large illustrated portfolio of images, and has a loud clear voice.

ARE MURDER MILE TOURS CHILD FRIENDLY?
Murder Mile Walks are proud to be praised by many satisfied customers as "a great grisly morning of murder, mirth and mischief", "both fascinating and disturbing in equal measure", which "rips Jack the Ripper tours a new one", therefore each case must be discussed in full, glorious, yet factually-accurate details, so it is not suitable for children. Sick-minded teenagers are very welcome.

DO YOU DO IT IN ANY OTHER LANGUAGE?
Murder Mile Walks is currently only available in English, but there are plans to translate Murder Mile walking tours into Spanish, German, Japanese and maybe even the Welsh. Innit?

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
Murder Mile Walks is impervious to the rain and goes ahead no matter what the weather. Michael, your personal tour guide, will email you with the latest weather report two days before hand so you can dress appropriately, and enjoy Murder Mile in full.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Owing to Murder Mile Walk's popularity, and with each tour having space for just 15 people, we can only offer a full refund on tickets as long as we have been notified via email - mmiletours@gmail.com - at least 48 hours before the walk commences. Any later and - I'm sorry - but no refunds nor date changes can be permitted.

ANY SOUVENIRS?
Only one. As a memento of your day, Michael will take a fun group photograph (as seen on the website's slideshow) and an animation, which will be uploaded to Murder Mile's social media accounts for your enjoyment, with a link will be emailed to you, entirely free of charge and with our compliments. You do not have to take part in these photographs if you don't wish to, but if you do, Murder Mile Walks retains the copyright of any images and may use said images in any future advertising or promotions.

* aspects of each tour (exact number of murders, locations, tour sizes etc) can/do change without prior notice, solely to ensure the quality of the tour remains high, as Murder Mile Walks constantly strives to give their customers the best tour imaginable.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE eSHOP?

Mugs & Cards: The mugs and handwritten cards are designed, packaged and dispatched by myself from my little boat and they are sent in packaging suitably designed to protect the product. Should they not arrive in perfect condition, please consult your local carrier for compensation.

eBooks & Ring-Tones: Sadly, as there are 1000's of types of phones and e-readers in the world, I will have no idea how to upload the file to your device, so I will be unable to help with uploading. Please consult your device's manual. To make this as easy as possible, I've created files which should work on almost all devices; for eBooks, these are PDF files and for the ring-tone, it's an M4R file. If your device requires a different type of file, please email me and I can send you a different file.

Shipping: To keep it simple, there are just two shipping rates; UK and Rest of the World, as (cost-wise) the difference between sending a mug to France, USA or Australia was literally a few pence. I know, it's crazy. Each package is sent by Royal Mail.

Collect in Person: If ever you're passing London, or plan to come on a Murder Mile Walk, you can collect your goodies in person? Sadly, this system won't allow me to add a "no-shipping" option, so simply click the cheapest, and I'll give you the shipping cost back in cash when we meet.

Multiple Purchases: If you wish to purchase a few mugs, email me, and I'll work out how much it would cost to box it up, as I'm sure the more you buy, the cheaper I can get the postal cost down.
