About the Music
Erik Stein & Jon Boux of Cult With No Name

So, I'm guessing you were just listening to an episode of the Murder Mile podcast and thought "Wow, I really love that music, who's it by?" And rightly so, it's pretty awesome, right?
They're called Cult With No Name who are London-based "post-punk electronic balladeers" with eight fantastic albums under their belt, the latest being 'Heir of the Dog' as well as the soundtrack to horror classic 'The Cabinet of Dr Caligari' and Peter Braatz' documentary 'Blue Velvet Revisited' (about the making David Lynch's seminal masterpiece Blue Velvet) as well as having provided the score to two plays at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival which were written and performed by myself. To say that they're super talented is an understatement. |

And if you're wondering "what's the theme tune to Murder Mile"? That's the instrumental version of a track from Cult With No Name's latest album 'Heir of the Dog' called 'Man in a Bag' (what an apt title for a murder podcast) and the music over the intro/final credits is called 'Winsome Lose Some' from the same album, with numerous instrumentals taken from Another Landing, as well as a special piece we like to call 'Creepy'.
Cult With No Name have toured Germany, USA, UK and often gig in London, so please come and support them - you'll probably see me in the crowd, dancing like a loon - or feel free to enjoy their latest video 'When I was a Girl' featuring the stunning vocals of Kelli Ali. |
